MINSA comprises members from various industrial, university and private sectors, principally from South Africa. Interested persons from outside our borders are also welcome to join.

Executive committee
The executive committee consists of six elected members, who meet with industry, university and private representatives on a regular (usually monthly) basis to discuss the society's affairs and take decisions on various matters arising. The executive committee for 2008/2009 is:
